Hi Mark,

Humptulips River Steelhead Fishing We had a great day with you on 12/30 Coho Salmon fishing on the Humptulips River. Frank is now bragging that he has a tradition of catch and release in Washington - only catching native salmon! Brian is also showing off his Washington fish photos to his Colorado roommates - don't grow em' like this in CO!

Paul Beddall - Boulder, CO
Mark,

Thanks for today -- it was really a thrill to fight those pink salmon, and I learned a lot that will help me catch more at home.

Thanks again,
Brian McDonald, Texas
Hi Mark,

Salmon fishing washington Thanks for the pictures. That really was a beautiful steelhead we caught on the Sultan River. Probably should have kept it and stuffed it!! Allison had a wonderful time. I am so glad that she has gotten to fish with you over the past year. We will definitely fly her up again for more fishing in Seatlle.
Have a good holiday and maybe we will see you later this week.

Wendy Windham, Roy, WA
Hi Mark,

We really enjoyed our day fishing on Humptulips with Ray. He worked hard and put us on some good fish, mostly chum, for lots of action. We have relatives in Seattle and will be visiting occasionally--keep me on your mailing list. I would like to fish another river with you sometime, maybe next spring, summer.

Alan Foltz
Mark,

Washington fishing guides Thanks for helping me catch my first salmon in Seattle. You were exactly what I needed! I've caught steelhead, but never salmon. I couldn’t believe we had our first salmon on within minutes of setting out on the water. You know the river so well and we fished every inch of it. Thank you for being patient with me, answering all my silly questions and teaching me how to do it right. I had a BBQ with those two beautiful salmon when I got home. They were delicious and everyone enjoyed them. I'm looking forward to next time!

Heidi Cowen - Portland, OR
Fishing in Seattle Thank you for the trip and taking us on short notice. Even though the fishing was difficult, we sure did have a good time. It’s not often we can catch an 6’ log. Please tell Bob that if he would have brought a chainsaw, instead of that stupid net, we could’ve landed and had one hell of a bon-fire!!!J If I ever get back that way I’ll be sure to look you up again.

Thanks,

Jason Barenberg, Boise, ID
Hello Mark,

Steelhead fishing guides I had a good time yesterday fishing with Mike on the Skykomish River even though we had to turn back the ones we caught. Mike did a good job!"

Thanks again,
Mark Lewis

NOW FISHING:

Fall: King, Coho, & Chum Salmon

When: October - November
Departs: Humptulips River
Guides: Ray, Mike, Ian, Matt, Cary Boats: 16' Drift Boats

Humptulips River Salmon Fishing

Located on Washington's central coast, our small Olympic Peninsula rivers yield strong runs of BIG King salmon, lure smashing Coho, and the hardest fighting Chum salmon around. By Thanksgiving weekend, hatchery Winter Steelhead will join the mix along with continued Coho returns and a few Kings still in the system.

The Humptulips river is small and is best fished from a drift boat. Our "float" is usually 8-12 miles each day and gives us access to parts of the river that few people can get to.

This is our very best freshwater fishing opportunity, period!...$225/pp, or $450 private boat for one or two anglers. Multiple boats and guides are available.

Winter: Blackmouth (Chinook Salmon)

When: January 1st - March 10th
Departs: Seattle, WA
Guides: Ian, Cary | Boat: 29' Defiance Guadalupe

Skykomish River Summer Steelhead Guide

With departures from Shilshole Bay Marina (minutes from downtown Seattle), these summer-time Salmon trips on Puget Sound offer a classic PNW saltwater fishing experience, as well as spectacular sight-seeing and wildlife!

We provide all necessary fishing gear, bait, fish cleaning, and can even sell you a fishing license on the boat. Just dress warm, come aboard and let's fish!...$195/pp.

Winter: Winter Steelhead, Grays Harbor Rivers

When: December - January
Departs: Aberdeen, WA (area)
Guides: Ray, Mike, Ian, Matt, Cary Boats: 16' Drift Boats

Skykomish River Summer Steelhead Guide

The fall crowds are gone so come play "clean-up" on Coho Salmon and Hatchery Winter Steelhead as they make their way back to our coastal rivers.

At times this trip invovles casting to and battling large salmon in and around heavy structure. You may experience things that you were taught NEVER TO DO with a fishing rod! Watch these fish chase your lure to the boat, set the hook, and hang on!

These trips are unique because we float a large section river each day and only take two anglers plus guide in our drift boats. Multiple boats and guides are available....$225/pp...$450 private boat for one or two. Multiple boats and guides are available.
