Option 1: (best option)
Washington State fishing licenses can be bought in our state at any Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, or Ace Hardware stores, as well
as our local tackle and marine stores:
Outdoor Emporium in Seattle, WA
SportCo in Tacoma, WA
Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville, WA
Triangle Tackle in Snohomish, WA
Cabelas in Lacey, WA
Monte Square Chevron in Montesano, WA
Please make sure you ask for a Salmon, Steelhead, and Sturgeon catch record card, and a Columbia River Enhancement Stamp if you're fishing
with us on the Columbia River or its tributaries.
Option 2: (good option) Purchase your license online...

Our license
year goes from April 1st - March 31st. If you are fishing with us
between January 1st and March 31st and need to buy a license, you need
to select the prior year to get the correct license.
License
fees: Resident one day fresh/salt $7.50, Non Resident $14.50,
catch record cards are free.
Example:
If you are
fishing with us on March 12th, 2009, you will need to buy a license
under the year 2008.
You will be able to print a temporary
license from home after you purchase online. You will NOT be able
to receive a catch record online! The regular copy of your license and
catch record card will
be mailed to you within two weeks. In this case, I can provide you
with a catch record card on the morning of your trip.
Please make sure you ask for a Salmon, Steelhead, and Sturgeon catch record card, and a Columbia River Enhancement Stamp if you're fishing
with us on the Columbia River or its tributaries.
Option 3:
(last resort)
Purchase
your license from me on the morning of your trip...
If time
simply won't allow for you to buy a license before your trip, and
you are fishing with me, in my boat, I can sell you a license when
you arrive for your fishing trip. I can also provide catch record
cards to go along with those licenses and licenses that were purchased
and printed online. This option is discouraged because of the time
it takes to write the licenses in the morning before we can get started
on the fishing trip. Please try to buy your licenses before your
trip.
License
fees, day of: Resident one day fresh/salt $11.00, Non Resident
$18.00, catch record cards are free.
