About Our Team Guides

Mark Coleman - Guide/Owner, USCG Licensed & Insured

Mark and Merry Coleman

Mark Coleman is the founder and lead guide at All Rivers & Saltwater Charters. Mark operates saltwater charters in both the inland water and offshore waters, jet sled trips in a variety of Washington rivers, and drift boat adventures throughout Washington state. When you call or email ARSC you will usually be working with Mark himself. Mark is skilled in coordinating with our clients to ensure that the logistics of their trip are as much of a success as the fishing we hope they experience.

"My passion for fishing is being a part of others catching fish"

For over a decade, Washington fishing guide Mark Coleman has had great success in pursuing, catching, and teaching others the key techniques to hooking trophy fish. As a USCG Licensed Captain and insured Seattle fishing guide, Mark Coleman has put his years of fishing experience and knowledge into mastering the prolific Salmon, Steelhead, Tuna, Sturgeon, Lingcod, and Halibut fisheries of Western Washington, and Alaska. Our exclusive charter permit allows us to offer both freshwater and saltwater fishing charters. It's not un-common to see Washington fishing guide Mark Coleman guiding a variety of different species in different locations all in the same week! Mark has also guided a number of seasons in Bristol Bay, Alaska on the world famous Nushagak River and Togiak River systems.

Merry Coleman - Deckhand, Adminstartive Assistant

Merry Coleman

Merry Coleman often joins our team on the water where she helps us find fish and deckhand. Merry’s passion for fishing is unquestioned, and her ability to rerig, rebait, net fish and offer up sage words of fishing wisdom really brings another level of excellence to our guided charters.

Merry is also crucial in the ground operations of the enitre company. She's a marine and fishing supplies specialist putting thousands of miles on the road keeping our charters up and running. Not too mention the office responsibilities she takes on every day. We couldnt do it without her or the other wives of the members of the ARSC team!

"This why I do what I do"

As a Washington State fishing guide have been fishing for Steelhead and Salmon for over 33 years and as you can tell...this is my passion. Being a part of someone else catching there first Steelhead or Salmon or maybe the biggest fish of their life gets me excited too. I am a people person and I love to coach my fisherman and women as they are fighting their fish and to see that look on there face when they finally land it... that's why I am a Seattle Fishing Guide!

"One of my greatest joys is helping people catch fish"

I have been fishing in Washington State for over seventeen years and Washington fishing guide for almost 8 years. I have fished in many parts in the world from Hawaii to India, if it swims, I have tried to catch it and there are a lot more fish to be caught. Fishing is not just a job or a hobby for me, it's my passion. I have always loved fishing since I was a small boy. I like everything that fishing has to offer. Whether it's the natural beauty of the rivers and forests of Washington, or the thrill of catching a new type of fish. I also love helping people catch fish they have never caught before or may have never been able to catch on there own. One of the best things for me as guide is to see the look on some ones face when they hook in to there first wild steelhead, or there first big salmon or trout. The look on there face and the thrill that they get is what great memories are made of, that goes double for young kids.

Ian Winder - Associate Independent Guide, USCG Licensed & Insured

Ian Winder

Ian offers our saltwater charters in Westport aboard our Defiance 290 Guadalupe "Reel Tight". Throughout the year, Ian can be found chasing halibut, lingcod, albacore tuna, steelhead and salmon. He spends the fall and winter months offering drift boat adventures on the Olympic Peninsula.

I have been a fisherman my entire life. Fishing is something I am very passionate about. I love sharing this great sport; introducing people to the wilderness fishing experience, teaching new techniques and being a part of the excitement that every trophy brings is what I live for.

The best part of the day is seeing the huge smiles on my clients’ faces as they catch their first salmon, first steelhead or maybe the biggest fish of their life.
