Fly Casting Lessons

Flycasting lessons with All Rivers Guide Service

As part of our full service commitment, All Rivers Guide Service gladly teaches fly casting to teenagers and adults of all abilities. These clinics take place at many of our local Seattle area parks by appointment. We provide all necessary gear to begin learning to fly cast but you are welcome to bring suitable equipment of your own as well. If this lesson will be your first try at fly casting we recommend a series of sessions to best achieve a proper fly cast. To learn the fishing part of Fly Fishing, we offer guided fly fishing trips as well.

ENTRY LEVEL FLY CASTING - Fundamentals of Fly Fishing $100/PP

  • Two hour session
  • Each session is $75/person

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL FLY CASTING - Hauling, Roll Casting, Steeple Cast, Mending $100/PP

  • Two hour session
  • Each session is $75/person

Please let your instructor know what your prior fly casting experience is so he or she can tailor the session to fit your needs.

To catch a Steelhead, of any size, is a lifetime accomplishment. But when Steelhead reach the 20lb or larger mark, to catch and to LAND one is lifetime dream come true. This fishery is one of the most legendary of the entire year and one of the few opportunites to hook-up a trophy wild steelhead. These fish are built like a rocket, like to fly and theres no better way to experience that than on light spinning tackle. This fishery is "catch, picture, and release"...$200/pp...$400 private boat for one or two. Multiple boats and guides are available.

Every spring, thousands of "the best eating salmon on the planet" flood the mighty Columbia river. These spring Chinook, or "Springers", average 12-18lbs and are one of the most prized catches in the PNW.
